Kokomo, IN (August 26, 2024) – A woman sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle at a car show on Sunday, August 25. The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. at the Kokomo Casting Plant on the 2400 block of S Reed Rd, near U.S. 931 and E Lincoln Rd. According to the Kokomo Police Department, a Greentown man driving a GMC truck lost control while performing a burnout, sending the vehicle spinning into the crowd. The truck hit the woman and collided with another car. Authorities are investigating the circ*mstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
